NGD - Green Spalted Agile

I sweat that I cannot find the blemish on this B-Stock! It is supposed to be a 1/4 finish dent on the treble side next to the TOM bridge

Not as advertised - sent it back to Kurt!!!
Damn fine and Congrats!!

Is that a 3xxx series? If so, and you other guys with the Agile A5 pickups, what do you think of them?
I have one in the bridge of my AXL Jr build, and I like it most of the time. but when things dont seem right, I want to blame the pickup
(instead of my playing) LOL.

Thanks!
It is the 2XXX series. the pickups in the 3XXX series are excellent. I reluctantly took them out after 1.5 years only because I already had Bare Knuckles that were supposed to go in right after purchase. In all honesty, it was more of a change than an upgrade.

I have kept the AL-2000 ceramic pickups but swapped for A2 magnets, much smoother and warmer, which is what I wanted, more in the direction of a PAF.
those ceramics arent bad but can get harsh. But I can make anything sound harsh.
So, theres that.

Now I'm wishing I had something ceramic more Number of the Beast in my arsenal.
I sold my Ibanez and knew I would regret it.

That is a real beauty! I love green!

I'm working on painting my Epiphone Les Paul Special right now.
First try was a bust...I have to start over...

Where did you get the magnets? That swap sounds like fun.

I approve and my grandson will definitely like it too, his favorite color is green. When he was very young, he could not pronounce green and he said greem... to this day it is still his favorite color and although he can pronounce green now, my wife and I still say greem whenever referring to that color in his presence. So in honor of my oldest grandson, nice greem guitar Ray!

and easy, just have to orient the poles correctly, except cut through the solder holding the covers on with a utility knife of small blade, or go in REAL hot with the soldering iron to free the covers.
OR, you will end up with lots of melted wax - ask me how I know.

Humbucker and P90 bar magnets
What thickness goes in the Agile 2000 pups?

Thanks
