This is what you’re showing me. It’s pretty much the same thing that shows with every bodies You Tube video…. Including most of yours. Don’t know what the little arrow in the lower right corner does, I’ve never clicked on it. All I’ve had to do is click where it says “Watch on You Tube” and everyone’s videos come up. And I just double checked one of your videos, and seems you actually have to tap or click on the phrase “watch on you tube.” Unfortunate. If that doesn’t work…. I don’t know. Theres nothing I can fix since it’s opening for me. Here is where we need the shrug shoulders emoji.

Lol well ..thought I was but uh, looks like I missed that target on each song by exactly 1 year! I was between 11 and 12 at the time of each release date. So yeah, I totally flubbed this on a technicality!

I'll have to go back to the Billboard charts and sort through what songs came out after June of 1996 ( these all came in the year of 1995!)

My two boys, ages 40 and 45 are/were into bands like Green Day and Blink. Specifically…. That genre…. So being the good dad I am, I listened when they played them. Some of it was pretty good. Some of it not so good.

In fact after HS my youngest played bass in a local garage band. Did covers of some of the already mention bands before they started doing their own material. That was fun!!

For poppier "punk", they were palatable at that time I suppose lol definitely some of the stuff I learned really early on when starting out playing, along with Bush as well. The Oasis thing, I still unashamedly enjoy.

Very cool of you to be the supportive dad with your kid's garage band!
 
A lot of these songs are not at all what I would consider pop, even a couple of the ones I posted. I could be wrong about what pop music is, I guess the definition could be broader than I think of it as. I know it only means popular music, to me that doesn't include all genres, but I guess in reality maybe it does.
