Zoom G3xn wah pedal

@fitz has one of these I know.
I haven't tried it yet, I ordered another regular G3n but they shipped the one with the pedal attached. Nice but I am not sure how well it works in the loop and it tis bigger than the regular.
Have you tried a bunch of the pedal effects? It seems to have a raft.
Might be really nice.

I have both the G3n & G3Xn as a totally digital pedalboard on my Ceriatone JTM45.
I use the G3Xn out front with the "Chrome" wah (Morley) effect on the pedal slot.
I haven't exactly A/B'd them, but very similar response to my actual Morley...
G3n in the loop with my standard loop trinity of EQ/Chorus/Reverb.

Not sure what you could do with the expression pedal in the loop, but I'd bet you could set it to level control something like the EQ for a lead boost.
Download the Zoom Lab and plug it into your PC - that's what I do to set them up, or change the pedal configurations.

Here's a pic.
These gizmos are impressive multi effect units.
Very versatile, programmable to literally any effect you want, and still usable on the fly with analog style knob interface.
Blows away the Boss ME-80 & GT-8 that I used to have.



Also got a set of the older ones - that amp is gone, but I'm keepin' these.

I like my Morleys. I think it might even be more effective in the loop. I see it does all sorts besides wah and volume. Nice.

I have an old original G3 on my small board. I didn't want to have to swap out the G3n off my big board to the medium so I ordered another. They shipped the xn with the pedal. Sounds like it might be better than a separate wah. It can do rotary spkr, all sorts. Hmmm

I wish they would make like a 4CM on these things. You can select whether an effect goes out loop output or front. It can't be rocket science.
