Cleaned up, oiled the fb and set it up. Got rid of those ugly ass clear speed knobs.

Tuners were crap so I swapped them out for the Grovers that came on my Standard.

Has the original neck pickup, but somebody swapped the bridge pickup for a Kent Armstrong. Looks to be the neck model, but it sounds good. Not sure if I'm going to keep it, it's hot as hell. I suspect that's not the original bridge either.

I love the neck profile and it's nice and light. What a fun guitar!

It's got the thin body with maple cap and belly contour. It's really comfortable and not neck heavy at all. This wasn't at all on my radar until I saw it hanging on the used wall at GC. At first I thought it was a studio. I've been wanting a P90 LP for a long time and this fit the bill perfectly.

Bout as thin as an SG huh? Very nice guitar!

Nice. Maple cap, belly cut, thinner body, arch top, P90.... different from the other LPs.
I have no idea man! :ROFLMAO:
Perhaps this.

Gibson is also one of the oldest American musical instrument manufacturers, with a history dating all the way back to 1894.

What year is this guitar? 2014?

Ok just a thought but now you need a trebble boost and a Laney amp :)

Ok I'm curious now, why do I need a Laney amp?

I have my Marshall SC20 head and a 212 cab on the way Friday. I have a Cameron/Jose High Gain Plexi that can switch off the clipping diodes for a vintage Plexi. And I have 2 amps built by T-rex (GR Amplification) both based on old Fender circuits. What is a Laney going to give me that I don't already have?

Yes it is, on both counts. And that makes perfect sense now about why the anniversary. They made lots of different models for the 120th.
