NGD twang me, Fender Player Tele

Miracles do happen. Not fond of tele's but they are growing on me. Like the simplicity on the SG. Flat wood & some stuff attached to make music , Guess what ?! It..sounds like a tele..like the the last 5 or so have had & that is all it needs to do...
Brand new with plastic still on. Traded my Epi JJN LP custom. It was great guitar TBH, but in the end got it & the SG Junior sounding real close. Too much sameness. This thing will get used for what its designed. Noticed the 9 1/2 radius right away, fret hand inside finger joints not like it so much probably why the 12 works in my case with small hands.

Wow, only took an hour to hook er all up. It was quiet, so used all the Gibsons clean to get the natural volume of attack into the MIG. Instinctively raise the Fender pickups up to where all the Gibsons are & instantly this guitar woke up.

What i found out was, it is not even close to what it was with the pickups low. In a way might of untwanged it a bit but its now a rock monster

Added benefit & real reason for the trade. Knew what it was going to do into the Mig blackface tone. It breaks it much better. Fender into fender was always a win win in anything ever tried on the clean side of tone

I like this thing, would say for the non tele player this is a nice way to embrace it. The alnico 5 are more my style they a bit more aggressive than a classic tele but it sure can cover the ground needed. It does back down to pretty close to classic tele/

If left alone it acted older & raised up it got aggressive. Very goosdguitar. The fit & finish is superb. Took a sec but got adjusted to the 9 radius & played some Gibsons just to make sure i didnt loose my mind lol
