On the original recording Adams uses Chorus. You will see in this video he uses Chorus with compression, he mentions that they used reverb as well at higher rate, but do to the amp he was using he set his at #1 setting. I set my reverb at #7 and kept the same settings for Chorus as he had..I like how it came out. The Chorus to me just adds those sweet tones..
