YesI assume you’re going down the road of today it’s more expensive to buy parts….. if they’re even available…… to fix something than it is to throw it away and buy new.
Or that today, manufactures have planned obsolescence built into pretty much every product we buy.

It is a different world since we were kids for sure. Pretty sure I heard my mom and dad say the same thing when I was a kid. But then…. They were 10 at the start of WW2.Oh its beyond much more than the higher cost of living, not getting into it though. I am leaning more towards, Its a different world..
