What is the Future of Fast food

Pre-pandemic, all fast food was spiraling into horrible quality. After, it's completely f'd. Even smaller restaurants and sit down food quality has gone completely to the crapper. We have a steak house in town that used to be THE place to get a good steak. High quality food. Ate there a few months ago and it could have been purchased from Applebee's.

In our house, if we don't feel like cooking the running joke is, "who do we want to disappoint us tonight?" when ordering food from somewhere.

We’ve been working on stepping up our “game” with our home cooked meals. We’ve gotten to the point the restaurant really has to offer up a WOW for us to be impressed.

I agree but in this one horse town pizza is $30. Most of the restaurants suck except the steak house and a couple of Mexican and Chinese food places.
I would rather cook at home and we do, however the lady likes a break .
I run the smoker and the BBQ. Lol
Avocado oil and Grape seed oil are main cooking media for frying.
The post is more about what is in the news not what I eat. Lol Granted beer is likely just as bad for you as other stuff.
I was mostly joshin...
We do mostly home cooking too. Just if we are gonna do takeaway it's local restaurants.
Beer is simple just keep the quantity down!

Sounds good, ribeye ?
During the summer we must have spent damn near $1000 on ribeyes, Filet Mignon and Brisket. I did not like the aged ribeyes. Rudy's get a premium price for their meat but they also have their own restaurant across the street.
We shared a pig with one of my sons. Turned one of the slabs of pork belly into home cured and smoked bacon. Turned out decent for a first try. Speaking of bacon being a food group.

My daughter likes em still bucking an kicking as well LOL i like mine a little more done
Growing up, I thought steak was bad. Tough, hard as hell and flavorless like eating beef jerky but with no zazz: what I discovered was my mom had one cooking mode and that was to incinerate any life that once resided in the beef lol

It wasn't until I was in my later teens that I began ordering it initially medium-well and thinking " Hey this is better!" And then to medium and liking it even more, then to medium rare and thinking " this is as good as it gets". Tried Rare once and ran back to medium-rare: too much life in it still for my taste lol
