I gotcha, no problem! There is one but man it ain't cheap especially for a clip on. The Peterson Stroboclip is actually made for direct sunlight but it's $59.99 USD
Alternatively, there's the TC electronics Unitune that uses an LED grid thats able to be seen in daylight as well at about $35.99USD
I've never had trouble seeing the display on the Boss tuners in even the brightest light.
Those clip-on tuners are utter crap - never even close to actually in tune.
Well Gary there are thousands on Amazon, would probably disagree with you, actually the D'Addario tuner I have is very ac curate, the only problem I have with it , is i cannot see the reading in sunlight or bright conditions.
This TC polytune is highly recommended..and is able to be well seen in sunny conditions, according to some buyers. This could be a option of which I am looking for. And also the accurate tuning which they claim.

I challenge those people to use a clip-on and then double-check with a real tuner. They will always be a few cent off - they use vibration to tune, not the actual signal, and even the type/density of the wood the neck is made from will throw them off. It's less noticeable with a 25.5" scale, but with a 24.75" you can never really get close enough.
I have one on my phone. Seems to mostly be ok. But tried to tune my 12 string one day. It would not recognize the 4 octave strings.Hell truth be told you can get tuner phone apps that are pretty darn close .
I have its cousin. Bought in the 1990s I think.I use this Boss tuner to set the intonation on my guitars held up well through the years.

I had one of these as well. Sold it on eBay when my youngest gifted me the TU2 several Christmas’s ago.
The real question is , would it be off enough that anyone you are playing to, would notice the difference , I don't believe so.
