Could we have asked for a better start to the RiffMasters Extravaganza? a Guitar Duel for the Ages!

Liveevil pokes Clockwork right out of the gate with a decidedly nasty "Dave Matthews" taunt, gauntlet gets thrown. The Field of Battle? Finger tappin' madness to an extra cheeze sports highlite bed track!

challenge 1 I'd tap that.jpg

@Clockworkmike fires first, with a pyro display I suggest should be titled "U Mad, Bro?"

@LiveeviL2000 comes back suffering under a heavy weight of BioWarfare ...loads up his Kerry King Warlock, answers right back spraying musical bullets in full auto mode,

This poll vote winner will earn 6 RiffMaster points, "Runner Up" earns 3. This is up to the community to choose! Please reward your fave for the effort!

Poll up for seven days. All of TTR is encouraged to cast a vote.

If you have your own "I'd Tap That" submission, why not post it in this thread in celebration of all that is tappy for a SINGLE RiffMasters POINT?
That will ensure this thread keeps floating around the top where it belongs!

Oh please! You know which kid is your favorite and which one you wish could have cooked a few more months.
Boy, don't that statement ring out true lol

HOLY FRIG!
Got Amplitude and Positive Grid on the line RN!!!

They both are in a bidding war to sample both your lead toanz for new IR/Amp patches in the next big update!
Sorry, no money for all y'alls, but I am a generous and fair fella... so I will let you name them
@Clockworkmike @LiveeviL2000 what do you figure your tone patches should be called?
@LiveeviL2000 got me beat to hell on the name lol

But I'll call mine "The Brown (Ring) Sound"

As this is the ideal thread to share and compare how much guitarman BDE y'alls emanate, I'm reposting a couple other "I'd Tap That" submissions what showed up elsewhere

Don't you dare miss this thoughtfully-crafted epic hotdogger shredsterpiece by forum fan-favorite @Jethro Rocker

Or, this desperation-inspired "Exclamation-Fest" (possible future pornhub money-shot soundtrack) by yours truly
(4sale, PM me)

OMG - too bad you guys can't even vote for either of these, but please DO enjoy and appreciate these two particularly "Saskatchewan" (where?) examples of Northern Soul style guitar selections.

Mine, BTW was a Hamer SATF, stock, through my RP-1000 user patch "BassRatSNG" based on Rat into a bassman with gratuitous chorus. It then went direct in stereo into my Mackie 12 chan board, out into my AKAI 4 chan IEDE Audio interface, into a sad, RAM-starved Hewlett-Packard cast-off business sh•tbox PC, stripped to run little else but a Reaper DAW. OK for six or eight tracks but a fella has to be careful on the FX ...processing power gets hurtin', stuff goes south pretty fast. Signal goes out to either my Sony studio, or a wondrous Quart West German set of cans, or back to the mixer, then to a marantz power amp, a set of goo ol' old Ratshak / Tandy Minimus 10s. You know the ones. Metal to the core!
Microphone is and old AKG condenser stick mic what may have had a previous life as part of a TV ENG news crew, not telling. Nothing special, built for toughness over fidelity, I think.

And thanks to NONE of you for even asking about my meticulously crafted signal chain (which includes no less than a dozen
dollar store jack and plug adapters and splitters which I believe is key to achieving superior melty-cheeze toanz

LOL!

Right on! I have a pair of Minimus 7s and they really do kick it.
And you really had a fun shred fest there.
thoughtfully-crafted hotdogger
Well.... not much thought in it, honestly.. 4 trial runs partway through to get ideas . Then just run it through. Was fun though. Cheers

Hey, personally I thought you, @LiveeviL2000 and @Jethro Rocker did better than anything I did, for whatever that's worth lol and they all sounded fantastic

I don't guess I named what I used either honestly. For the record it was
-G&L Legacy Special
-LINE 6 POD X3 Live, using it as a preamp based on a 5150 with a Tubescreamer, light Sine Chorus, a lil digital Delay with Reverb and a parametric EQ going into the FX return only to
-A JCM2000 DSL 50 acting as a Poweramp with 1960A cab with T-75s
-mic is a Pyle PDMIC78 ( SM57 knock off) placed center of cone, 2inches from grill
-into a Behringer UMC202HD interface
-into Reaper DAW
-via an old beat ass HP laptop that's about 11 years old lol

I had that exact same POD. Traded it in for the HX Stomp. I really liked that monster.
