I'm still alive but not playing or building anymore.
Arthritis is so bad in my left shoulder that any movement of my left arm causes intense pain.
Have to hold it like it's in a sling with my hand resting in my lap.
Shoulder replacement is the only option that I've been offered and I'm just not too keen on that prospect.
Add to that the screwed up left hand and I'm just a mess.
Normal tasks that are taken for granted every day have become next to impossible for me now.
Opening a door, combing my hair, fastening my jeans, putting on socks, even driving a car is starting to become an issue. It sucks.
I'm only 64, way too young for this garbage.
But I can't really complain, many folks have things much worse than I do and all things considered, life is good...
Peace!
