NEw Supro Amp-first listen

Sounds pretty cool with the Les Paul and turned all the way up. Not my sort of thing to be honest, as I prefer high-gain amps, but I can see the appeal.
On the other end of things, I checked these out in the local shop and thought the build quality was pretty disappointing for the price point.

All these Supros are expensive and great sounding. I've seen mint used ones that go for around $1200+ new for around $850ish almost new at GC by my house. The new ones I've heard and play sound excellent. They weigh a tone. Their price scares the hell out of me. They sound great, take pedals well, I find them easy to dial in a good tone on also.

I wonder what most people would feel comfortable spending on an amp. Sounds like a thread pole to me!! I shall now steal your thought.

Has anyone ever looked at the price of a new Fender Twin Reverb lately ??? or Fenders other nice tube amps ? I remember buying a Fender Hot Rod Devile and a Fender Tweed with 4 x 10s in it in the late 80s for 450$ apiece.Probably double that now if they even make them anymore. No i dont have them . Ya i was stupid.Only one i regret selling is the tweed with 4 x 10s. I really want some Marshall crunch but nobody sold those in my neck of the woods.

Interesting.... can you elaborate on this?

I know a guy who knows the Supro guys, who are also
somehow involved with the Pigtronix guys by the way.

I think they are having some issues because of the
incredible success of the amplifiers. They did not
expect such big success so fast and are a little
bit overwhelmed.

however...

They are doing an excellent job of backing up their product.
They seem to not be doing warranty repairs. What I have
seen is no questions asked immediate replacement if
there is an issue. Tough to argue with that.

Keep in mind this is all hearsay on my part,
but I know a guy who knows a guy...

The 2 Supro amplifiers I have both sound stellar.

The first time I took the Thunderbolt + out on a job,
a bandmate looked at it and said, "It only has 2 dials?"
At the end of the evening he looked at it again and said,
"Now I understand."

...and the Comet is a total Princeton killer.
