Happy Halloween!

We had 3 Gooblins and i killed off the rest of the Milky Ways UGH LOL. Great lookin bunch Mike.
We didn’t have anybody stop by. But then. It got cold. Windy. Snowy all day. Just a nasty night to be out. So me and mama have some snickers and butterfingers to make disappear.

Edit: should have added the why for the candy. She’s loves frozen snickers. Butterfingers are probably my favorite. Actually crumble a few up and add to homemade vanilla ice cream when I make it. Way yummy.

Lol thanks fellas. My neighborhood is small yet believe it or not, we average at least 300-500 a year during Trick or Treat. In 2003 it had about 1200, seriously lol. The reason is in town, lots of houses are spread out or don't pass out candy but here, houses are bunched closer in a subdivision and most folks do pass out a decent bit. So kids can rack up quickly in as little as an hour.

Typically, my in-laws come over to pass out the candy , while we take the kids out for an hour and since they only get about 5 to visit them, they do that before coming over. But this year, COVID had them at home so I had to come up with a cool little solution:

I took a large cardboard box, cut two pieces and taped them inside at 45 degrees with a 2" slot between them at the bottom. Cut a 2" hole at the bottom in the center and filled it with candy from the top, then taped the top shut. Basically, I built a gravity feed system that prevented any kids stealing it all in one go but dispensed a piece at a time and it worked! Lol

Had a good # for about 1/2 hour then things went silent. I then closed the door for the possible creepy adult run that could follow. Had a creepy 6ft+ grim reaper show up later into the evening one year. What a trip.

Nice pics!
