Rabbit Hole ....

So, 24.75" made to fit a 25.5" scale guitar?

Keep in mind, your bridge position to the neck pocket dimension on the Warmoth body is already fixed.
You'll need a neck that gets you a correct 12th fret to bridge length in the current neck pocket.
Warmoth invented the short scale conversion neck. They work perfectly and intonate. No issues putting one on any body that was originally designed for a long scale neck.

Right , I wonder if they keep permanant records of all the guitar necks and bodies they sell ?

Perhaps reach out to the seller and inquire as to what the scale length was on the neck they used.
I also concur that the "crack" may well be a groove from the bridge ground wire.

Got a pick guard idea for you - trying not to spoil the PM content, but noticed the pick guard holes in the body.
If you want the no pick guard look, how about clear acrylic?
The one on my JP Dragon is clear with that prism foil underneath.

So 2 steps forward , one back.
Fitz , man. I had no idea that the Telecaster body, bridge is drilled for 4 hole vintage style.
Shifting build direction.
More to come when stuff arrives.

Like I said, no need to use everything I threw in the box.
It was just collecting dust & taking up space here.
Hardly worth the effort of even trying to resell for the price of a pizza.
I'm super stoked that it might get a new life and make music for someone.
If it doesn't line up, or go with the style you decide on, bin it or pay it forward. (y)

Yes sir, I will use nearly everything else you sent. I was trying my best to figure out a way to use the bridge. Even cutting in half but it would have been too "Jerry Rigged"
Lol.
