What are you listening to, metal edition.

…I didn’t know K.K started his own thing, all day I’ve been checking it out!
Yes , I have been following him on Facebook.
They are touring Europe with Paul D'anno.
Honestly I have watched priest their entire career but right now if I was going to buy a ticket and both bands were in town on the same night. Kk would be the one.
He seemed to not get a fair shake in the band for a very long time and he is the earliest member along with Ian Hill.

Metal music is evolving in to vibe
avant-gaurd Odd pop twists.
Tim Henson is cutting edge but it isn't not for everyone.

I bought his book and it was a great read.
KK is a pretty cool dude

Me too, it's a good read but he really holds back a lot. I guess legal reasons.
KK writes about his work being stifled .
For example solo on Last Rose of Summer

Dissident Agressor is one of my favorite rhythm sections ever.

I didn’t realize he wasn’t getting treated as fairly. The only thing I ever really heard several years ago was that he got tired of touring so he left Judas Priest, then seemed to of gotten pretty upset when Richie Faulkner took his spot. Then again, I’m sure there’s a lot of context I’m missing.

I find it odd he never got a signature guitar deal though… I’ve always considered him one of THE top metal guitarists

Well honestly Faulkner is a natural player and well earned the spot. If I had to read between the lines I am guessing he had some unkind words when Halford split but that is speculation .

I like KK's rhythms but he does have good leads . If it's not covered in a wash of effects and whammy. But I guess that was his thing.

I didn't want to mess up your post so I put it here. Years ago I went to see one of giant concerts Dave Mustaine put together and Nevermore was on the bill. I didn't know at the time who the hell they were or that metal could be made in Seattle (Grunge Capitol) @Metal89
These 2 are sweepers from way back.
Thanks for posting, and since you did. MAN, how can I not be impressed by their skills. To me, I can't even conceive that it is possible to move one's fingers that fast even without a guitar neck to press down on string to string, fret to fret.
