Bingo!Looks lime a co.pensated nut to me.
Here’s pics I found of compensated nuts. The opening/relief is on the fretboard side, mainly G/B/E strings. I don’t believe he was finished as the tuner side does not have his signature fanout or fall off trench. Also, the nut over hangs the edges. I think he put a 43mm nut on a 42mm neck.

Mitch, I don’t have any of the wiring done. The action is really low as I have not set the bridge height, but the neck feels very comfortable and wide. How does it sound ?
I bet it’s going to sound gloriousMitch, I don’t have any of the wiring done. The action is really low as I have not set the bridge height, but the neck feels very comfortable and wide.
Fabricated the yellow rear cover today. Put copper tape on the inside, which will then get a parts list laminated to it when done.

Would those green key tuners be the same green key tuners that were sent to Robert from @kevinpaulRainy day today so I had some inside time. Decided to draw up the schematic in Visio. I then typed up the parts list for the inside cover. I then added the schematic to it. I had never done that before.
