It's so crazy how people compared them.
There are few similar things in their playing styles . Randy was a small dude with a big heart and a large stage presence.

This just might be the earliest live recording of Crazy Train. There is another video out there that claims to be the earliest, but this was recorded 12 days before that one.

Same view for me. Randy was miles ahead to me. It's not just about flashy speed riffs. Randy had way of finding meaning guitar passages. The Metal style for decades to come.
