Appreciate you
@jtcnj , you're a Well-Hung warrior senior officer, and with mal all up in your avatar, you obviously can do no wrong.
Leading up to the show, I struck up an online conversation with fellow Saskatchewanian Darcy, a luthier in Regina. He was asking me about guitar shows in general as he saw me posting on the f-blorg about getting ready for one. He decided to jump in on the Calgary show coming this weekend which I wish I could take in, but I just have too much custom work going on right now in the background and it's a bit too much of a drive for me for sure! Maybe next year. But this Darcy Boyer fellow of Boyer Guitars seems like the 100% real deal - - I mean, look at these
absolute beasts:
He wondered if I maybe wanted to do a collab for a build someday, I said I can get behind that, time permitting. But he lost some points with me when he mentioned his builds include those dastardly mechanical straplocks (you all know how I feel about those!). On a whim, I jimmied his address out of him to send him a bunch of Well-Hung Pro-Pins, he got 3 pairs, one each in gold, black and nickel. Wasn't but a week later, Darce messages me back, not much to say other than to affirm he'd be adopting Pro-Pins on
all future builds.
That's what I'm talkin' 'bout!!
At risk of repeating myself, they are a Total. Game. Changer. Here's his first one installed!
Anyway, I wish him great luck at the Calgary show, if you're in the area, be sure to go meet him and test drive one of those wicked guitars he's showing, while they last.
There's a number of strap builds I made leading into the show I didn't promote online or put in the Reverb store because I kept selling them off too quick, and wanted some new cool stuff for the show. Terrible problem! One of the was "Glam Zebra" which is new in my super flashy Star Power series
It's got silver glam glitter on black, but in a horizontal zebra stripe. Pretty cool for the right stage effect... or maybe you're not all that handsome or dink out a lot of clams like that tater fellow we all know, love and appreciate... this'll make 'em forget all that nonsense. Heavy duty leather front and back, ultra padded. Made a pair of them, now up in the Reverb store.
@Mr. Potato Head, who so boldy bragged he could easily answer any question about me took a big fat L last night. Tonight he gets his
second attempt at the guessing game to win hisself a FREE Well-Hung tee in XL. Once again a very sporting three chances to guess the first guitar I ever played & took guitar lessons on - Good Luck!
