TVvoodoo's Straplab

Appreciate you @jtcnj , you're a Well-Hung warrior senior officer, and with mal all up in your avatar, you obviously can do no wrong.

Leading up to the show, I struck up an online conversation with fellow Saskatchewanian Darcy, a luthier in Regina. He was asking me about guitar shows in general as he saw me posting on the f-blorg about getting ready for one. He decided to jump in on the Calgary show coming this weekend which I wish I could take in, but I just have too much custom work going on right now in the background and it's a bit too much of a drive for me for sure! Maybe next year. But this Darcy Boyer fellow of Boyer Guitars seems like the 100% real deal - - I mean, look at these absolute beasts:

He wondered if I maybe wanted to do a collab for a build someday, I said I can get behind that, time permitting. But he lost some points with me when he mentioned his builds include those dastardly mechanical straplocks (you all know how I feel about those!). On a whim, I jimmied his address out of him to send him a bunch of Well-Hung Pro-Pins, he got 3 pairs, one each in gold, black and nickel. Wasn't but a week later, Darce messages me back, not much to say other than to affirm he'd be adopting Pro-Pins on all future builds.

That's what I'm talkin' 'bout!!

At risk of repeating myself, they are a Total. Game. Changer. Here's his first one installed!

Anyway, I wish him great luck at the Calgary show, if you're in the area, be sure to go meet him and test drive one of those wicked guitars he's showing, while they last.

There's a number of strap builds I made leading into the show I didn't promote online or put in the Reverb store because I kept selling them off too quick, and wanted some new cool stuff for the show. Terrible problem! One of the was "Glam Zebra" which is new in my super flashy Star Power series

It's got silver glam glitter on black, but in a horizontal zebra stripe. Pretty cool for the right stage effect... or maybe you're not all that handsome or dink out a lot of clams like that tater fellow we all know, love and appreciate... this'll make 'em forget all that nonsense. Heavy duty leather front and back, ultra padded. Made a pair of them, now up in the Reverb store.

@Mr. Potato Head, who so boldy bragged he could easily answer any question about me took a big fat L last night. Tonight he gets his second attempt at the guessing game to win hisself a FREE Well-Hung tee in XL. Once again a very sporting three chances to guess the first guitar I ever played & took guitar lessons on - Good Luck!
Good on you sir!
As to the question that is an easy one! You started out on a Yamaha FG-150 that had a small crack in the top.

Sorry, no cigar Meester Spuderos. Perhaps your crystal ball is scratched and blurry? Or is that just your aging rheumy eyes? How could you not have guessed a 1964 Framus Television?

You shall have one final chance to use your Spudly powers of potato-ey postulation tomorrow night. Your mental strength seems to be weaker than you anticipated, try to get a restful nights sleep and dream no dreams of the many uses you would have for a free cougar-attracting Well-Hung Tee shirt!

Dammit!! I was reluctant to say anything, but I also had a vision of a strong wind that uprooted the majority of your top of scalp hair leaving you mostly bald!!! It was spooky!!!

New in the store tonight or tomorrow will be a pair of Rock-O-Dile straps. Beaufiful buttery pecan coloured cowhide embossed with a croc pattern, that has a positively eeeeevil glint to it.

Guitar forumite @fitz z picked hisself a pair of Well-Hungs, "Imperialist" and "Here Kitty" for this pair of absolute lovelies!

He says he's up to eight Well-Hungs now. I approve of this extreme brand loyalty! Long may you play in pleasurable comfort, and thank you!

OK the Magnificent Mr. Potato Head has one more chance to earn a FREE Well-Hung tee. Last try. He bragged earlier he could easily
answer any question I gave him. Sure he can. But can he answer correctly to earn the prize of a Cougar Attractor? We shall see.

Before that awesomely sexy AMC Hornet 4-door, and a Yamaha 175 enduro two-wheeler, I had a lively 4-legged drive below me.
I grew up on a ranch you see, and did all the ridin' and ropin' and roundin' up stuff all country kids learned back then.
Nowadays they use ATVs mostly, sadly.

But back in the late 70's early-mid 80's my best ride was an enchanting, beautiful and super smart paint. Pinto, as some know them.
He never once got spooked enough to throw me, was gentle but fast and agile when required, a cadillac gallop and a super hard worker.
We crossed many a stream, fixed many a fenceline and herded thousands of head of cattle over our years together.
I could almost go on autopilot while herding, he knew exactly what to do, always one step ahead of the dogies.

An amazing partner.

@Mr. Potato Head , use your yet-to-be-substantiated clairvoyant powers to conjure up the name of my enchanting equine friend & co-worker!

Poor ol' Tater's mind is spinning as his hopes for a free Well-Hung t-shirt are quickly dwindling to naught!
He might have to dump out his swear jar to come up with the dough. Don't take it out on your family spudder, not their fault
