I shall. It has to be at least slightly better than the stock Celestion. Once you gt your mitts on a sweet 8" speaker like this WGS, open box, rub on face, and install one becomes a god among mortals.

Agreed, but to truly christen it you must rub your junk on it too.

Also agree its got to be better. The stock one is real poo.

Ok quick install and cursory play thru/ no more time. The WGS is a better speaker for clean and for gain. Sounds better to me than the stock one by quite a bit. More 3-D. It did make the amp a tad heavier so Headache may have to help me move it any sort of distance.
I would say it was worth it,I have played this amp before through a 1x12" cab and this 8" gets pretty close. Now sounds like a good small amp instead of a decent practice amp.

Soon haven't had time sometimes life gets complicated as you know. I did manage to jam something in front of it to make sure the speaker was exactly the correct diameter though.
