New B Cabinet day!

I've been scrimping and saving for a new guitar...well another... new guitar. . . and then I found this at a local music shop... well 45 miles away.
And I just Couldn't turn it down! Price was really really good.
and I've wanted a B cab for so very long...

I assumed it was loaded with regular Chinese Celestion V30s . And I was wrong.
It's a 1960BV. So it has Marshall G12 Vintage speakers.

I haven't ever spent much time with them. (I mean I've heard them in almost every speaker comparison video for the last 10 years, and liked them, but I haven't spent much time playing them for myself.

I plugged into 3 of the amps real quick and gave it a whirl.

Immediately yes! Immediately...

I'm not sure how much of my wooffing adoration is for these particular speakers, or the fact that B cabinets just sound bigger and louder. Or both! But whatever it is... I'm loving the F out of this cabinet so far.

I'll be selling one of my A cabinets to my other guitarist shortly I imagine. He wants a Marshall cab pretty bad.

Well it isn't a sweet 8"WGS speaker, but it is pretty coolI suppose.

I don't think so. Cab and speakers are from 2000.

Made in England V30 should be 60 watts

They are not V30, rather, the Marshall branded Celestion Vintage 12. These were original with the 87 Jubilees, they fit that series very well!!
Looks like they are 70 watts as cab is rated at 280.

2 things i didnt sell just in case... first run England v30 & t75 & china v30/t75. Was & is will always be my sound for DSL's any of em. Mic on each & that tonal spectrum is covered !! Surprisingly i favor china greenbacks & only kept pair of them. Don't play as much anymore but sure do enjoy the predictable/dependable compression of the greenbacks matched with the Orange TH30
