I traded off that ugly white Jackson 7 string for this brand new Epi Les Paul Standard. To a former student down the road actually...
He hates Gibsons and I Hate things that look like Fenduuurrrrrrrs.... So it was mutually win win!

Supposedly it has pearly gates pickups, which I will verify soon.
I think this is an Epiphone LP standard 60's
Bourbon burst, laurel fretboard, figured maple top.

Anyhow, here she is. Not sure what I'm going to do with her yet....she may stay in std E because she chords like amazing! It's glorious!
Pickups are not high enough gain for the chugga chugga that I like so much.... We shall see.

Ha ha you're the third guy to ask me if it's too small or something ha ha ha h
I'm only 6'2" I even had to go shoot pictures of it next to my other lps.... I think it's the dark outside they paint in them, the other 3 LPs I have just have the same finish across the entire width... It's an optical illusion kind of thing. Like a vignette almost.

I tried to capture what I think this guitar and current pickups want to sing out. It's very different than what I'm used to playing and hearing.
These pickups are sweet and have that classic/magical Gary Moore, ZZTop kind of thing going on.
They would not do my BrOOtz very well ha ha.


This is the first time I've used my loop pedal too !

Now aren't those A2's refreshing to your ears? So sweet and musical. It is barely discernible, but I thought at around 46 seconds I saw a small tear in your eye as the sound was so sonorous you were overwhelmed.
