Just wondering, in a post apocalyptic hellscape why/how exactly would it be advantageous or advisable to "Shout at the Devil"? Are we trying to scare him away or what?
As in "hey good job buddy"!Perhaps they were giving Satan a "shout out"

I don’t think he ever wrote many lyrics at all, but he did come up with the melody of them.Poor Ozzy. Most of those early lyrics were Geezer Butler.
Ozzy was just a bloke from Birmingham.
Got all those labels thrown on him the poor sod.
He had zero to do with the devil.
Yes substance abuse didn't help him.It is the irony of Ozzy but he is batt sh_t crazy. Lol
Pete Way destroyed himself.Yes substance abuse didn't help him.
Nikki Sixx of the Crue was worse than Ozzy drug wise.
Ozzy's dyslexia makes him seem worse.,
Until Iron Maiden launched Number of the Beast . :dood:It's supposed to be ambiguous. It's how they could use Satan through the era back then.

Gotta interject here: no man, they didn't lol but I'll tread lightly so this doesn't go off the rails into a religious debate, in keeping with forum decorumThey did the same thing. No one would outright claim to Satan. It was all associative yet dismissible. I'm not familiar with later Maiden but did notice all their albums went full-on Satanic.
