Happy Birthday to the Father of Loud

Happy 100th.
Got my first Marshall 40 years sgo, 1983. A new white 2203 half stack.
Big Marshall fan since. Should never have sold it.
Things changed a lil but not the Marshalls

A skilled jazz drummer who couldn't play a guitar if his life depended upon it, yet created some of the most destructive weapons in the arsenal of Rock, including the legendary Full Stack. We all owe a debt to this man and his name is absolutely synonymous with Rock and deafening volumes. Here's to you Guv'nor!

To be fair, he organized what 3 others did to create Marshall amps. His input was fairly minimal in many ways but still, hats off to him!

Wow, some of the amp collections here are half museum pieces. Y'all have some covet worthy amps.

SMH, posting with a DSL and an Origin Lol.

Nice tributes to Jim. Happy Birthday.
The Origin is an awesome modernized take on the early days' Marshalls, while the DSL is the Swiss Army Knife Marshall that can do just about anything you can imagine ( hell, out of my 3, it's the one I use more than any other). Not to mention, you got an ultra rare JTM45 sitting there as well!

Uh, ya me? Last Time I played on stage I rocked a "Bandit 65" with a scorpion speaker! Word.
Bandits are probably the best true solidstate combos ever made when you look at versatility, dependability and affordability. If a person can't come up with a good sound on one, whoever they are and whatever style they play; then it's totally on them lol
