This has been on a shelf for a while since it had some volume drop issues. I recently had it checked out and reset tubes and biased by a tech.

I Plugged it in today and wow! ..... I had forgotten it's voice. Pleasantly surprised!

The cabinet I'm running it through I didn't have back when I was playing it... . ...
It crushes through this cabinet! ( K-100s and Manowars.)

It has all the bells and whistles, double master volume (for leads) emulated out, gain, bright, mid switches for each channel, great footswitch , and the reverb is delish. 60w or 120w.

Tight, high gain, quiet! It's glorious!

I think this guitar sounds ....I dunno ..smoother? Flatter? Not nearly as good as the explorer is sounding, or even the Dean. Same pickup in this LP as in the ML though... Covered version here obviously.
It happens quite often in my experience, some guitars lend themselves to different amps in different ways. It makes it all so more interesting in my humble opinion.
