The Muse I Adorn

It is an axcess JR. I'll get a pic of the back when we get off the lake
Looked like a beefier neck joint than mine. Mine has no bump at all at the heel. Looks like yours has a different type of access routing.
Mine was a CS too.
Mine is thinner than normal too.

Yay!
Plus great to see you back.
So a Modern but not a Modern Axcess...?
Didn't realize they made 'em like that.

Yes, they are different. Mine is just relieved at the neck joint and not as much

Yeah, it is standard thickness with the extreme weight relief. Neck is asymmetrical with a 12-16 radius ebony fretboard with real MOP inlays. It definitely has more resonance than my other Les Pauls.
Good to see you. Hope your summer is going well. Bob says that the weather in the Twin Cities has been fabulous. I might head out there the last weekend of August.

I've been away all week in Vermont for work, but brought a guitar with me to play in the hotel room. When I got home today, I really wanted to plug in. I don't know what's up with the electricity in my house, but with all the rain and thunderstorms lately the noise in certain guitars and amps were a just a true combination of evil. EL84 amps and single coil pickups were a no-no. Even Filtertrons were no good. I just couldn't tame the buzz, even with just guitar, cable, and amp. Finally, some humbuckers in an SG and my homemade JTM45 with KT66s were the winner. A little noise still, but not evil. And, this is with power conditioners being used in line.

Patience and preserverance will win out most times. Glad you kept trying till you found a combo that worked

I have my first gig in a few years this Friday. I’ve been quite undecided what to use. The drummer asked if I’d play the “Amoeba” guitar. After playing it through the Matamp and DST 2x12, I decided the Billy-Bo will be guitar number 1. The combination sounds quite fantastic. I’ll also have the Flying V as a backup.

Been on a bit of a dry spell lately. Want to sit down and play and seem to always find an excuse not to... The Cubs are on.... the sun came up.... the sun set.... squirrel..... etc. Considering the past few days, like many of you I had to play. So I did. Tonight's weapon of choice was my FakeCaster. Tonight was for you Rob.
