Absolutely horrifying weapon when you think of it. It could lob a 15kT warhead 20miles, which is the same strength as Little Boy over Hiroshima. That meant that it roughly had the following:

Fireball Radius-591ft
Heavy Blast Damage Radius-1,100ft
Radiation Radius-0.72 miles
Moderate Blast Damage Radius-1.04miles
Thermal Radiation Radius( 3rd degree burns)-1.18miles
Light Blast Damage Radius -2.81 miles

So, there was only 7miles between the alleged edge of the blast to the gunner crew. If winds occured, that number drops dramatically and this was based on the round exploding over the ground in an airburst. If the round detonated on the ground, the blast radius would shrink but fallout and radiation areas triple at a minimum
