Kennis and Shane discuss Gibson quality

For me, exacting detail means physical and actual HARD examples of the product my mind is working on.
I absolutely suck at exact details, rote memory and regurgitating facts like geometry formulas, historical facts, song lyrics, etc.

Although, I can usually remember phone numbers for decades. Go figure.

I remember VIN numbers of cars I owned 30 years ago. I can look at something, like a brick wall...and the number of bricks in a given section pops into my head in seconds...something I see c as n trigger a memory and I will immediately begin reliving it.... i remember evdrt detail of what my wife wore on.our first daye...all the while having a conversation with someone and makng dinner plans....its like watching four movie's at the same time....

Its why I never associate with anyone other than you guys here. Im different. Few people understand me. Nothing I say comes out right so I just smile and stay quiet in personal interactions. But I really enjoy helping people.

My wife is the rare person who can understand me....

I can actually relate to alot of the quirks of many of the people on here hahahahaha, nothing extreem on any givin one but i can relate to alot.

Did you use it to buy the aborigines land?
You'd have to ask the Brits about that, remember, we were sent as convicts when this place was a colony. Cheers
Edit; the "rum as currency" also is a Brit thing. Appears money was tight in the empire back then & rum was a form of payment colonial's accepted. Bit of a history lesson, the term "pieces of eight" also stems from here. With no British money around, Spanish money was used, the Spanish coin (doubloon?) was quartered & the quarter coins halved again making eight equal pieces of the one coin, thus, pieces of eight. When traders from other nations arrived this was how they were paid also. The American "two bits" also stems from this, two bits of eight being roughly equal to 25 cents. Cheers

Having said that, I have a beautiful life everyday....and I am very happy...and I have no fake people in my life....

That is saying something on the internet. ( The Fake person part) At least in our forum and somewhat in a few others we frequent, most of us act civilly and as we would want to be treated.

It means a lot to me that despite Robert's being and or feeling different as he grew from youth to manhood, he knows his strengths and weaknesses now. Also glad he has such a good family and feels like he is family here. It is easy to be self conscious in real life whether one is shunned, picked on, accepted or even revered when it comes to social situations. We all live through times of discovering who we are and since we are all lovers of music, guitars etc. It is pretty great to have this vehicle to bring our diversities, strengths and knowledge for the benefit of so many we call friends.

Now for a Photobucket coup. Who wants to take over that mess and fix it back to the good tool it was before they got stupid.?

Yeah Ivan, that is how I heard it happened.

Ivan! Survey: Promite or Vegemite, and why? (Marmite doesn't count, since it's from bloody England!)

I am surprised you asked that, Gold,,,,,,,,,,,,
I'd have thought you'd have said Goldschläger

I dig it, Robert. My wife, on a good day, will understand me completely. On not-such-a-good day, when I'm walking around and speaking in my Goldmember vernacular, stretching unnecessarily and making funny faces, she ignores me completely. Friends and acquaintances pretty much do the same. I'm rarely understood. I've always believed that, if one makes it through life with at least one friend whom can be completely trusted, that person is lucky.
