1979 , seems like a great year for music . Just before the decade turned and the slow decline in "magic" if the music.

I never heard the demo or even paid much attention to it.

I found by some research that Geezer did not play bass on the demo. Of course he recorded the studio version.
I am down a rabbit hole on a tangent.

The sound is definitely there but yeah man, having Geezer's bass lines missing really changes this and shows how important he is lol

I don't disagree but I always appreciate every recording. From the past , it's like a window in time. The recording is a little rough but that "edge" is my Forte.

How the song was constructed is important info. Geezer is an icon. Not sure why he wasn't there during the demo. Dio, Iomi are on point and the actual guitar is different. I like different.

I saw them on this tour. I was standing on the floor of the old Boston Garden, standing about 20 rows back from Geezer. It felt like someone punched me in the chest rapid fire for an hour. I felt pummeled after that show.

I am working on the first part of the bass line to the 2nd verse/chorus.
The guitar on that parts seems doable.
I have a SVT pro model. Sounds sweet.
I really want to find my bass groove. Lol
