Daves Epiphone

The Gibson version is garbage, have yet to see a single good review. Glenn, Trogly, all the reviews I've seen for the Gib are.....underwhelming, unfortunately.

That's a nice guitar but also a lot of jack for a import.
While I agree, not all the Epiphones are created equal. While most are Chinese, my Epi sig was made in Indonesia, at the Samick factory. I suspect Dave's may be as well, though I don't know that for sure. In the case of my Brent Hinds V, it feels and looks about as Gibson as any actual Gibson V I've played. Still, Dave's placement of the volume knob would drive me bonkers lol
My hands are too large. I'm always bumping the knob and turning myself down accidentally. I used to just deal with it, but....meh, can't be arsed to anymore lol

That said, I'm still looking forward to the Kramer version that's supposed to be coming too. A little pointier, more like the look of his days with Jackson.

I don't doubt the quality of it. It looks stunning . Dave has had a lot of signature guitars.
I just think their price is off to me.
The damn guitars like explorers and V's suddenly have become valuable.

I've noticed lol

Have you seen what the Richie Faulkner Epiphone is going for? Cost the same price as my Brent Hinds V when they came out. My V has gone up a little bit, but not like the Faulkner V

I believe @Metal89 has one

Yup I sure do have one... unfortunately during the whole drama with my soon to be ex wife i ended up losing the certificate of authenticity But The guitar and gig bag is in my possession, thank god.. Holy CRAP!!! When I got it it was, I think $999.99 or something like that...

Richie plays the Epiphone V on stage.
I haven’t seen him with it lately, but recently he got the blue V’s from Gibson and I’ve only been seeing him with those lately, but for a good bit he did use his epiphones, wouldn’t surprise me if he uses them as backups at least.

Have you watched his Rig Rundown?

I'd have to say that Richie is the best overall guitarist out there right now, stage presence and chops, he's got it all.

Why play Chinese when you can play a USA made Gibson got this one in 2008 $150.00 figured the case was worth the price
all it needed was a pickup selector switch

Because the USA Gibson Dave Mustaine signature V is garbage. That's why. Lol

Also. Not to nitpick, but not all Epiphones are Chinese at all. Seriously doubt this one is a China guitar when the Indo Samick factory has been building all the sigs for the last few years.

But yeah, I'd pick a US Gibson over a crapshoot Chinese Epi too.
