TVvoodoo's Straplab

Swamp Cowboy is one that took quite a bit of work... being a concho-decorated piece, also in my premium Class Act format.
If showy/badass is your thing, this is the strap for it! If you are more one than the other, this strap will help even you out LOL!

ZqtNJfHl_o.jpg

3" wide, ultra padded with a protected back-buckle adjusting design. 44-60" adjustment.

H9xvpaYM_o.jpg

Rarely seen rectangular conchos, nice and big too... a fun take on your typical concho guitar strap
similar to others only much more robust, padded and visually turbo-boosted with bits
of advocado python under the conchos, and a scaley strip riveted up the centre

Magnificent! Well done sir!

If you are a Reverber, I invite you to put the Well-Hung store on watch (Link in my sig). This way you'll know immediately when I list new stuff, that's how the coolest stuff gets sniped.
Two new ones in the store today, from my long-neglected Shakey Series!

LLlfq5xx_o.jpg

I had embroidered patches made special for these. I felt silk-screening some paint onto poly web was not the way to honour this iconic strap or artist. Patches is how a real hippie would do it, elevating this strap to a higher level. Each securely sewed on by me! Also, no cheap poly base, but genuine black leather, at just over 3" wide for a nice wide and comfy footprint. The above is a modified version with faded denim, the below with black denim. This one looks quite a bit closer to the original, (but still wider and way more leather).

Fowct2lp_o.jpg

The Well-Hung Shakey series has rolled leather edges for neck comfort, and layers of foam padding which make this the most comfortable and cool strap you may ever own. Try me!

I made four more of these in different iterations, not listed yet... shown below. They are quite a lot of work!
Please put the Well-Hung store on Watch for when they appear if you are interested!

"Grandfather of Grunge" brown plaid... on buttery suede leather - because not all guitars look like Ol' Black!

Y9TZtmV8_o.jpg

Gray herringbone wool tweed, (really is The Business!), on black leather. Handsome!

EdGKvtvs_o.jpg

Get yourself a Peace/Dove strap with extra personality, robustness and far more comfort than you probably
deserve LOL!

I have one of these. Awesome strap. Looks great on my Strat.

great photo @iblive - have I used that one on F-book?

"Tan Pants Stan" is the kind of strap you want to wear with your khakis, pleated or not.

Smyvk8wc_o.jpg

you got some ice saddle coloured latigo on the ends and a wide body of caramel "vegan leather" with a genuine leather python laser cut strip sewed up the middle. 3" wide, extra padded, goes into 60" territory too

Perfect for those gigs that are dressy casual. You know, just 'cause it happens to be true, sometimes it's best to NOT look like you slept in your truck last night. At least that's what my wife keeps telling me.

Re. Photo. I don’t know if you’ve used it Brad…. But I have a few times.

off the bench today: "Blooze Python" to help you get your sad turrible blooze on.
It's got a blue body, with a black and blue python strip running up up and down, sewn securely.

ze4gZOEo_o.jpg

3" wide on the shoulder with my soon-to-be-famous Well-Hung luxury padding built in.
Heavy black leather nose and tail sections, rolled edges along the sides.

Might take you a few days, weeks, even months to access, but I carefully built inside four killer blues licks that'll totally slay an audience and
cause everyone in the room instant feelings of hopelessness, loss, longing and melancholy, which is really what you want, ain't it?
Should warn this strap does come with a risk as well - Once put into use, you may become so suddenly comfortable, you'll be unable to authentically play the deep lowdown blues direct from your aching heart and body like you used to, a situation I hear very often usually caused by inferior guitar strap brands.

Please do a brother a favour and take some time to think about your total guitar experience,
and if you feel a comfortable strap would be a welcome addition to your stable! If so, get in touch!

Folk fest has a lot of fringe! should have maybe called it Fringe Fest!
Denim base, ultra-padded... heavy cowhide nose and tail.

XDWlv3Zq_o.jpg

Anyway, I made two of these - I put the shorter one up on reverb as a Ladies' strap,
but if you dig it and want the longer version message me

And this would be why the hippie flashback. One of the first straps I ever purchased way back sometime around 73-74. :dood:

That is VERY cool @iblive... maybe even a little inspiring!

Coming to the Well-Hung store most likely tomorrow... a New Genocide series strap in tan and old gold

AsoYSKes_o.jpg

If all goes right, a strap suitable for flying the colours will also show up in the store too! Haven't made "Old Glory" for a number of years,
but painted denim just has a such a superb look and feel. I suspect these straps will just get better and better as time goes on, like a favourite pair of denims

Quite a lot of work, many steps to do this... I am also trying out a new modified back-buckle system, thought it might be easier to build... but didn't work out that way - but operates flawlessly... You can put these firmly into my Class Act form factor, with the easy adjustment via a conway buckle, and the impressive comfort, which will be what folks will talk about once I finally shed my mortal coil.

Built to be strong 'n proud, by my friendly Canuckian hands for a pretty darn decent neighbor! 41-56" length.
3" wide - I'll probably get to a Canadian version later on this summer

"Got a Bit of A Curve To It" is a Class Act Well-Hung strap, new.
It's one of few dedicated Left-Handed straps I've made.

"What?" you ask? "There's no such thing! That's unpossible!"

Truth! the whole strap has about an 8"-10" off-center curve to it over the whole length, kind of a crescent shape.
It wraps around to embrace you gently and lovingly in the way you require, just like Palmela Handerson!

RgvKzJTq_o.jpg

Tried it as a righty, it works.... kinda. Way more better as a lefty though.
Rear buckle adjustment, 3" wide, padded etc... Big imposing grommets.

Been off for a couple days, reverb store is open. During the past week and probably the next two, you may detect a faint woodsmoky/outdoor camping aroma to your Well-Hung strap order.... no extra charge!!!

I live in the middle of the screen approx... in the "johnson" district pretty much surrounded by out of control wildfires. I know what's happening up here is affecting a LOT of folks a long ways away.

Been traveling further south too last couple days. Central Alberta... was even difficult to drive in some places... hardly a whisper of a breeze, smoke socked in and ashes settling on our vehicles overnight.
My best hopes for any folks displaced, or with breathing difficulties.

Brent in Michigan is a Reverb Warrior and fellow crackhead! That is, if supercool gear might fall in the vicinity dangerously narcotic pleasures

Yowsa! "MR. COOL VINTAGE GIBSON!!! WHO ARE YOU WEARING?!!?"""
"Why now, precious child, surely you can see this is a Well-Hung 1969 - Time Of The Season" made just for me?"

Owner Brent wanted a slippier interior than I normally offer.

Canadian fires didn’t really affect us up by the WI/Illinois border….. other than a couple sunrises looked pretty cool….. and maybe a couple days a bit hazy. But I guess conditions were just right 60 miles south in Chicago that the weather service issued a high risk warning for people with respiratory issues.

Electric new 1969 series straps now await in the Well-Hung reverb strapateria

QuTROw55_o.jpg

Insane embroidered waveforms visually vibin' all up 'n down.
Heavy upholstery material on 3" wide black leather. Black / brick red/ warm yellows / avocado greens etc. So very late 60's, early 70's groovy! remember those 70's appliance colours? Yeah, me too! These are those.
Sorry, no acid blots included.

None more comfortable, or trusty! Plus they'll go plenty long enough so you won't cuss me (or your ownself,) out the first time you try yours on!

Been too long since I was trusted with a Well-Hung custom build!

Greg asked me to see what I could do for his PRS in a particular colour he says is "Purple Iris"
It's not really graple purple, but more an iris/magenta sort of colour - like a warmy purple.

As I told him in messaging, matching purple perfectly can be a challenge.... But I was up to trying. I had an inkling tickling my brain and dug into my "Leather Library"
where I keep special things. I had stored some python embossed and dyed patterned lamb, a couple years back, not enough for a strap mind you... but certainly plenty for feature bit.

Admittedly, I'm a total pack rat / hoarder when it comes to leather and fabric scraps... you just never know, amirite?

iowYTc2o_o.jpg

His guitar has some midasy ements on it, and he asked me to try to accent that with a thread choice and some hardware bits to match too. Plus, he chose a magnificent center bar buckle from my collection. So it's a purple python strip on black leather, 3" wide, rolled edges, padded, etc. Back buckle assembly, my own design I call "Class Act" where the strap goes through the back end and the instrument remains protected. This one goes around 44-61" but home position is about 56"

xdHZTzK0_o.jpg

Also found some sexy velour here matches almost perfect for the lining, and is super soft, comfy and has a bit of grip to it.
Really kicks it up another notch.

Here's one photo he sent me, I montaged it up with a few newly completed strap pics.
