What's on Your Workbench?

I have this Warmoth guitar I built several years ago. For some reason, no matter what I tried and I tried everything, the trem is stiff and just doesn't perform right. I worked on it and worked on it, tried several trems that fit the route and I could just never get it to feel right and eventually gave up on it. Well now I'm going to try again. I just can't help but think there's something I'm missing and I'm determined to figure it out.

So this is back on my bench. I'm even thinking about trying a short scale conversion neck on it to see if that makes any difference.

BTW: one of the forthcoming projects in my house is a 212 cab. TL806 doubled, equipped with 2 Eminence Delta 12. The wood is already akklimating.

Meanwhile the front is black and the cab is ready for the red vinyl.

Build quality - i was lazy, quick'n dirty is sufficient for this project. And i have a lot of more important things to do in my house. Among many other things this:

You do not nedd to be talented. You just need to dare to do and to experiment without havin had the training. That's what any physicist does when he tries to find out something new about the world. Daring to pass You current limits.

Intesting book, btw: (but try to support your local dealer if You wanna buy it...)

What is the book’s title. I get directed to the home page for amazon.

That’s some amazing work guys.
Very nice work.
ove the zombie apocalypse knife.
I have the midnight slasher knife from the movie Cobra. It came in its own fitted case with “Cobra” emblems on the case. Damn thing is super razor sharp. I keep it tucked away in its case. I have an 8 year old grandson and don’t need him playing with the “cool” knife.

I probably used wrong wording. Should have said not creative enough. My brain isn’t wired that way. Give me a box of stuff with instructions and most likely I can assemble it. Give me box of raw material and tell me create something….. not as easy. Similar with music. Give me a chord chart or sheet music and I can learn the song. Tell me to improv and I’m lost. Couldn’t do it in jazz band in HS playing trombone….. can’t do it today playing guitar.

Well… Since you’ve made it this far in life, I bet you’re a lot more talented and creative than you think you are…

Took advantage of a three day weekend, and after finishing all the yard work I didn't do because it's rained every day for a couple of months (or, so it seems), I played with some projects. I bought an amp kit from a guy at the Amp Garage who was retiring. I just wanted a couple of transformers, but he hooked me up with the whole kit at 2017 prices, no covid markup. Started finishing the chassis, and drilled some holes. Need to get my hands on a couple of step drills. It would be fun to putz around with this, and maybe get some work done on it soon.
