Well, looks like some people cant take a joke and they got their feelings hurt…

I cant be part of anything that cant take a jokes…. I thought we could have little fun bashing teles but some people got emotional and got their feelings hurt..

Therefore, im out of here for good now….

I think we've fallen off track here, so I'll do my best to try some damage control I guess. Dunno if this is even what this is all about but, might as well nip it in the bud either way:

I made a bad joke referencing ice cream to guitars. This was a rib in response to jokes being tossed my way too. But the truth is, as far as I know, there's no bad blood between me or Ramo, as he has given me utter $hit over owning a Tele since I've known him and I have dished back equally as much $hit over his Vs. But its largely been in fun and petty ripping on one another. Unless I've missed something, we aren't on bad terms rather quite the opposite.

Just wanted to clear the air here before this becomes something bigger. But if hes leaving, I would sincerely hope he changes his mind

He did take a break, perhaps he just doesn't want to be here anymore as it seems extreme.

Kidding of course, kinda, but I thought all the Tele stuff was fun and games. Never saw anything serious come from it.

Sad, because I've got an American made SL1 black Jackson I was going to ask him if he wanted for $120.

Well well well. I know that in the past, I have mentioned @Ramo when a picture of a Telecaster was involved, but that was only because he is so openly opposed to them. I did so in a joking manner, but have not done any of that recently. I'm not sure what triggered him and hope that he does return. FWIW, @Inspector #20 is a true blue Ford man. I have been a Chevy and Mopar fan. We can agree to have different opinions on cars just as we can have different opinions on guitars, it's all good and we are still friends. The secret is we don't get butt hurt if the other does not share the same opinion.

That would have been pretty cool.

1974 was not a good year for cars. Industry was in their early years of figuring out the 5mph bumper…. So that was ugly. Low compression engines. The gas embargo thing. But for as ugly as the car was, it was actually a fun car. 360 4-bbl. True dual exhaust since it was pre converters. Stuck a couple Thrush mufflers on it. Loud doesn’t even begin to describe it. Car was ordered with a 3.54 rear gear. Had no top end… but it got there pretty quick.

Oh….. and it was the car I was driving when the future Mrs. IbLive and I started dating.

1974 AMC Matador Coupe X ( aka Rambler) wasn't a terrible car really. Like most things the year before, the gas crisis began murdering the Detroit muscle and the engines were the first to suffer. The 360 4barrel Gen 3 Tall-Deck that year produced about 190hp off the line, so a big drop from what they spat out just 3 years earlier which was 295hp. But, considering that even the beloved Pontiac Firebird that same year only could get a listed 290hp with an actual Dyno reading of 253hp from the largest option the SD-455, suddenly 190hp doesn't seem so anemic by comparison. The Camaro Z28 only had 245hp as well.

Even Mopar suffered the same cruel fate that year with the Challenger pushing a maximum 245hp in the 360 Ralleye option. The most you would find was the Dodge Road Runner 440 that could get 275hp

Ford got it the worst with the debut of the Mustang 2, having a 161ci V6 producing a WHOPPING 105hp. The Thunderbird had the massive 460 but, it was neutered to a sad 212hp
