Just for you, G BALL,,,,,,,,,,,,,, and maybe a few other RUSH MANIACS

Moving Pictures is undoubtedly their most popular album alongside the legendary 2112 and its phenomenal; but as for great bass, at least from a guitarists perspective? I thought Hemispheres and Permanent Waves had even greater bass parts, if that's possible. Even the stuff around Caress of Steel ( album is wrongfully maligned by critics and cynics) was pretty ahead of its time.

But yeah as an album overall, of course Moving Pictures is probably my favorite. It was the first Rush album i bought with my own cash actually lol wasnt the first album i heard of theirs though, that wouldve been both All The Worlds A Stage and Caress of Steel together from my dad's cassettes

Damn cool videos. I confess , I am a Rush geek! Great videos and playing. Looks harder than guitar.

Let me just put it this way, Ibmor. Gball and I, Bastarddon and you, know good stuff when we hear it. Ged, Alex and Neil with a short stint from Rutsey, really cemented a foundational block in rock music known as Rush. Some folks including some in here, can't get past Ged's singing. But watch this guy imitate Ged's playing, and you can't dispute that Ged was a master at his craft. Similar to Entwhistle, Pastorius, Harris, Baker, Geezer, JPJ, and so many others.

Right , exactly. His voice is his voice. It's up there but not many people can do what he does. His level at everything he does sets the bar. He is one of my all time favorite talents and he doesn't even play the 6 string. Well he probably does. The only other guy that stands out with this talent is Sir Paul.

Sir Who?

So not even looking for this cover but it brought tears to my eyes. I loved Rush so much.

She is actually lower pitch but pretty damn good cover. Not perfect but it makes me happy to see people put the effort out for the love of the music.
