Excited. I've been in plans that started from Craigslist about 3 weeks ago. A guitarist has gathered a buddy bass player and drummer to get a "once every two weeks to a month" basement jam band. He played in a popular band in the area back in the '80s and toured with REO, Nugent, J. Giles, back then. He teaches guitar as well so he's definitely real good. Probably knows what a relative minor is for sure. :p

It's basically for fun and he knows I'm not the phenomenal lead singer he had back then. I'll be able to hold my own though, I believe. I sent him a few fresh recordings of me and he liked them.

For you guys this is really all about a gear pic!! more than anything else. I want to run my own mic pre, compressor, and analog spring reverb for the jam. I have gear that I don't use anymore due to computer plugins so I threw a few things together for this purpose. I'll just line-in to his PA at the end of the chain.

Thanks, Mitch'ster. It's an all cover thing. He was like you around here in the '80s on the scene. I think they did originals back then, now just covers. Thanks for the encouragement.

Thanks, iblive. Not pooping yet - just a little churn. The feeling of actual movement will come. I'll bring some pocket Lysol to his house just in case. Lol.
