HAHA, I am in great need to redo our roof. I want to do it right, but I hate that detail work and roofing have to be met often with intense heat, impending rains, and now for me aching and weak legs which will make high work and steep pitches a bit miserable. BUT I hate paying others to do work I can or could do myself.

He whips out a $2500 check made out to FiveSkin, tells us that this is our budget for the film. We think this might be a total disaster, but our drummer speaks up and tells us about this chick he went to school with. Says she's kinda dark and goth-y, but that she knows how to create a good video, and that she can probably cut us a good deal.

So, we choose Poisonous Tongue as our video, because she really likes snakes, and this song happens to be about a venomous snake. A match made in....hell!



A snake behind cold, dead eyes
She wields a poisonous tongue
Creeps around the ankles
Kills her victims one by one

She's a ruthless viper
the most dreaded bite
sneaking around, creeps in the dark
relentlessly stalking the night

Cries for help from far in the void
The phantoms of the past
Another victim of a forgotten war
Taken by the spell she cast

Things that can't be undone
you look like you're broken and guilty
words of treason drip off the tongue

I take a step outside, I'm all alone
Feel the chill on my skin
Permeates to the bone
My temper for insolence grows thin

I won't be her victim
That's a label I refuse to take
So I go and do what must be done
I bury the head from the snake!


So we choose to film this thing out in the desert where there's lots of snakes. She can get the thing done for $1600, and says the extra $900 can be used for some substances to keep our spirits up while we're out there, and also extra rubber snakes for good measure.
