TTR Game of Toanz

I recently had flown over to London to see one of my favorite bands ever, the Bevis Frond. Since I have been friends with Nick and Ade since first meeting them at Terrastock in '97, I was greeted enthusiastically when they saw me at the sound check. Ade was the bass player for both Hawkwind and the Hawklords, and he introduced me to their drummer Dave who is the current Hawklords drummer. We all got along great, and enjoyed getting high and having some proper pints. Dave asked about my musical interests, so I sent him a link to Wasteland of Sleep.

A couple of weeks went by, and I got messages from Jerry Richards and Mr. Dibs of the Hawklords asking if we'd like to play some festival shows in England this summer supporting Hawklords and The Crazy World of Arthur Brown. They said we would need to play at least one hour sets, and we couldn't repeat any shows. I immediately got to work on new songs.

Here's the first quick and dirty thing that I put together.

I don't know if the video has finished loading and passed their scrutiny for copyrights, etc.
$hit yeah! Unplugged and awesome!

We got the call and found out we are touring with Disturbed. Anything is better than what Barbarian Bob is doing now. Shoveling manure into a hopper at the fertilizer factory stinks!

While on tour we found out why these guys named themselves Disturbed. Before they enter any room or any building the all shout out "OH AH AH AH AH AH!!" It's fun at first, but it gets annoying really quick!! Especially when the bathroom is involved. I mean WTF!!!! Some rooms should be exempt from that ritual. Especially when Draiman does it. plus does he have to add "OH OH, OH OH..." when he takes his morning sit down.

But before went go on tour, we decided to throw down some tracks for a song we came up with ... we called it "Quick n Dirty" since Barbarian Bob still smelled like the manure factory, we wanted to make it quick!
Here is a first take. (warning: you will never get these 3 minutes back)
Lyrics **Quick n Dirty**

Verse 1:
I feel the rush, can't wait no more
My blood's pumping, I'm ready to score
Gonna get down, like a savage beast
No need to be gentle, just pure release

Chorus:
Quick n dirty, that's how we roll
In and out, lose all control
Sweating, panting, let's keep it raw
Quick n dirty, come back for more

Verse 2:
Be like lightning, so fast and quick
Don't need no fluff, no time for tricks
My body's ready, my mind's so keen
I’m all in, like a sex machine

Chorus:
Quick n dirty, that's how we roll
In and out, lose all control
Sweating, panting, let's keep it raw
Quick n dirty, come back for more

Verse 3:
I know it's wrong, but it feels so right
Gonna take this pleasure, gonna take this fight
Gonna push it to the edge, gonna take it all
Quick n dirty, answer the call

Outro:
Quick n dirty, back for more
Quick n dirty, done and dusted
Quick n dirty, mission complete
Quick n dirty, let's do it again!
Quick n dirty… forevermore!

Damn!! you beat me in for the first 4. Nice job man!
I just puked up anything to get it in.

@LiveeviL2000 killer entry. Clean entry hitting all the marks. You even got the team hitched to the wagon!
Your lyrics are quite impressive too, for what it is. Noice! :dood:
Thank you. You are being kind.
Well. It was quick and dirty. One take, sour notes and all.

Oh wait. Let me thank you in character.

By Odin’s beard!! Barbarian Bob knows you are impressed. The riffs played from Thor’s Hammer are always Metal To The Core!!! \nn/
Ricky and Meat held the rhythm section and tried to keep up with Barbarian Bob. But they are mortals, you can’t expect much, unlike the Norse god of Heavy Metal!!!
The Lyrics were sent down to Barbarian Bob from the halls of Valhalla. After Barbarian Bob had a few bumps of the white powder of greatness. You should rightfully be impressed! Even Tommy Tongue is unworthy to utter such words, but try he must.

Jett Roxx
Heinous Anus
Thunder Skull
Dick Burns

Please report to the stage.

Well..... I did do a couple tracks but gotta say the vox were more speaking than anything. The wife was resting upstairs w the cat so I could only do so much. one take for most, mistakes n all... pretty lame song... but...

I had had enough of working in my father's drug store. Getting Kotex etc for ladies and having the older ones tsk tsk my hair. Early mornings, no time to play. It sucked!! Boss was a dick too..

So when we got the call I was elated. We got to open for Poison. Pretty big gig for us.
I had a song I was working on called Quick and Dirty. It was obvious I wasn't the singer but hey... the band gets the idea.
Turns out 2 of the Poison members actually are women!! I wondered.....
