TTR Game of Toanz

Well, Cowboy figures it this way: you did hurry up and get the horses all hitched up and harnessed real good and pretty darn fast, so you can still claim the bonus points. Only thing is, turns out you hitched the team to the water trough instead of the wagon, so that could be a bit of a problem.

We can probably all agree Don's newly-acquired skills scraping out old septic tanks at least gives him something useful he can fall back on if the rock starring thing doesn't work out.

Squatcher got a new gig! We sent this demo video out, and....

That's it! I'm out of the "Private Septic Tank Interior Resurfacing" business for good! That job sucked anyway! I chucked my trowel at the boss today....done!
Squatcher got a line on opening for Queens of the Stone Age on their latest tour! It is gonna be so much fun touring with these guys! They actually bring around a "shrine to The King"(that Elvis guy) that they visit before each performance! Kinda weird, if you ask me...not judging though...they're super cool to hang out with.

That was bitchin’!
Nice work. REALLY nice.
I was going to do mine yesterday, but I got home late and passed out.

You rang?

Still plenty of time fellas. I sure wonder what y'all got brewing in those messy heads of yours.

Deadline tomorrow night! And still one slot remaining for the early bird bonus too!

Unbelievable! I never thought they'd last this long! This round is only for immunity fellas,
but you still have to get 'em in!

This challenge by far is the most complex for someone like me
You’ve got this sir! You don’t have to sing…it’ll be my biggest ding in this one…I just should have left it in writing, and only played the music. BUT….I actually like to sing….singing a melody when I’m putting stuff together helps me organize and arrange quicker…even if it’s nonsense…the rhythm and melody contribute to the whole.
I also really like to play bass…love the thump, with a little dirt maybe…
EZDrummer, and some of the others that may include some preprogrammed midi loops, and the ability to edit and arrange easily…absolutely make this process easier, and sound way more polished than it actually is.
In the end, you only “need“ to write some lyrics, put together three or four riffs, arrange them so that they form a verse>chorus>verse>maybe a solo>and so on, until you have a three minute piece…heck! I went around 4 without much effort. You can do it @4406Pack !

I recently had flown over to London to see one of my favorite bands ever, the Bevis Frond. Since I have been friends with Nick and Ade since first meeting them at Terrastock in '97, I was greeted enthusiastically when they saw me at the sound check. Ade was the bass player for both Hawkwind and the Hawklords, and he introduced me to their drummer Dave who is the current Hawklords drummer. We all got along great, and enjoyed getting high and having some proper pints. Dave asked about my musical interests, so I sent him a link to Wasteland of Sleep.

A couple of weeks went by, and I got messages from Jerry Richards and Mr. Dibs of the Hawklords asking if we'd like to play some festival shows in England this summer supporting Hawklords and The Crazy World of Arthur Brown. They said we would need to play at least one hour sets, and we couldn't repeat any shows. I immediately got to work on new songs.

Here's the first quick and dirty thing that I put together.

I don't know if the video has finished loading and passed their scrutiny for copyrights, etc.

Excellent job my brother

@SG John you still had a whole day left LOL! But you got in early for the last early bird +2 points

Procrastination may be liberation for you... to me it can feel like incarceration!

Loved the Celtic flavour! Beautiful song entry! You did however miss out on telling us about the terrible job you were forced to quit and the deep dark Hawkwind secret. Cowboy didn't like that

Still five GOT entries to come in and not much more then 24 hours remaining.

I'm on the road for work for a few days starting in the morning. Entry needed to be now, or never. There is a secret told. May not be obvious as a blind eye seems to be turned these days around here, but still highly illegal in the UK.

Totally forgot about the job. Didn't see it when I re-read your post on page 153 or wherever it was.
