We held a show tonight. Our first show as Through The Blood.
It was a friggin blast! Kids were screaming after every song! Crowd was getting down and having a blast!
I will get video and pictures shared as they trickle in.
Here's what I have 1 hour post show.

I thought we absolutely Slayed!

I'll admit the first two songs I was super nervous and almost couldn't speak. I just hunkered down and did my job.

It was a blast!

Wow , cool. I am so surprised that you had never played live. Everything you play on the Friday riffs makes me think you have been playing live for years.

I know a guitarist who has been playing live since the 70's but I don't think you are any less worthy.

Thanks guys! Appreciate it!
I have played live a handful of times in other bands, but this one is MY band. I wrote all the lyrics and 90% of the music. It kind of the band I've always wanted. So we've been together for a year or 2 and finally getting to doing gigs.

My throat is hamburger, I literally was tasting blood during my last song. I have an appointment with a throat specialist in 2 weeks where I'm sure he'll condemn my singing too harshly and incorrectly for the last 20 years lol.

We've got 2 more gigs lined up . . . Not sure I can get a singer hired in fast enough lol

Love it!! Mr. Administrator laying some sound edumacation down on the unsuspecting masses. Any of your school kids there?
Yes there were a lot of my middle school kids there...all with the same face of disbelief. A few of my teachers and secretaries came too, they were laughing so hard!

It was a truckload of fun!
I'd do it again tonight!
There was a group of high schoolers all gothed out in mohawks and way too much makeup and they were thrashing around and made the whole crowd so much better. I love those kids!

Awesome stuff!! Great to see the kids out!
Watch thatbthroat, you can permanently damage it and that's it for singing again. See the doc and do what you have to but take care of it!

Dude, learn to "false cord" your screams. It will get you right where you wanna be and you can sing your own stuff.

Think of the screaming as fake and only "mic technique". That's how it's properly done. :dood:
