Hi. You know that I was hit by some virus years ago that forces me to buy Marshall amps when they are a bargain. I bought a '04 2061X hand wired. You knows I don't need It but I can't say no. Let's see when It arrives. Maybe It will be a pass to get a Gibson firebird Studio.

Congratulations on the incoming amp score brother.

I hear that they are a great tone machine.

Cheers

Thank you. I bought It today. I guess It will arrives within 8 or 10 days. I'm exited. I can't wait. Probably I will temted to mod It with a FX loop and a reverb but it's so valuable. I would ruin It. Already I made a song thinking with this amp, lol.
From what I can recall, is that they have a plexi vibe about them.

Just not as brutally loud.

I have had the pleasure and honor of being able to visit the Marshall Museum in Germany a couple of times. Playing with all his amps. The '60 and '70 Marshalls are most brutal think ever. The Randy Rhoads signature amp was amazing as many other amps too.

Lucky you. I would love to have the extra time on one of my visits to Germany to visit Sigi. He's an absolute charm when we converse on FB. I would love to spend a couple of days at his place.

Thank you. I was there three days every time I visited The Museum. I was very lucky. Be there It's not just play around with the amps. The stories and wisdom about Marshall that Sigi told me were great. I can never be grateful enough for the hospitality of him and his family.
