Nice herd you have there, you could use one more for completion, Yes the Godin Shifter 4, ask Adrian he had one and gave it up, now he wants it back, he told me if I see one to let him know..

There is a Godin A4 fretless on the local Craig's List. I've been watching it for a while hoping the price will drop. LOL.

The price seems a bit high or are Godins better than I thought.

Godin guitars are very high quality, they sell more guitars in North America, than Fender or Gibson. Godin sells 4,000 guitars a week roughly 200,000 a year. I believe Godins are better than you think..This Bass is $2,500. The Bass I put that you saw on that link is no longer available and has rave reviews.

There is a member that was here who had one and sold it , wish he never did, he is in the process of trying to find one , I have tracked one down in another colour which he is looking into.

Godin has no mental print in the US, for better or for worse - it's basically a closed market between the US or once "all US" heavy hitters. It's hard to know what to think when it comes to comparing from the perspective of yours JR's and others because there isn't the knowledge here.

I see them as another 1st world quality guitar build, but I happen to know them and know this.

Makes things difficult doesn't it? Lol.
