Well after having this amp for a few days now I'm just blown away every time I turn it on. The tones I've scratched and clawed for for 30 something damn years and could never quite get are just effortless with this amp. Best gear purchase I've ever made and I couldn't be happier.

Not this time, it doesn’t need it. The closest thing to a mod I might do is add a Mr Scary hot mod because it’s highly recommended for getting into metal territory, but I don’t know, I’m getting pretty good metal tones with a couple of stacked ODs set as clean boosts.Now that's the type of good news I like to hear...
But now, it's time to mod the piss out of it...

Installed it this morning. At first I wasn't impressed, but after swapping out the 12at7 with a 12ax7 was better, but I still wasn't impressed. Then it dawned on me to check the other tube, the 12AX7 that came in it is either going bad or wasn't seated properly, but when I swapped it out the thing came to life! I'm now getting the gain I was getting with 2 ODs out front without any pedals and then boosting it with a SD-1 takes it to insane levels. Just awesome!
