You know how much I like that explorer!
Nice riffage

I do know that feeling..Tonight's riff comes with the Glorious sound of 2 amps in stereo. The Marshall TSL and the ENGL coming out of a stereo chorus pedal.... It is impossible to capture the sound and feeling of the concrete jumping under my pickhand!
But I can assure you it was epic!
Now your adding some lower mid FORCE.Tonight's riff comes with the Glorious sound of 2 amps in stereo. The Marshall TSL and the ENGL coming out of a stereo chorus pedal.... It is impossible to capture the sound and feeling of the concrete jumping under my pickhand!

That hum in the end…it doesn’t come through when you’re going full bore….but if it bugs you at idle…may suggest one of these to break the ground loop…
Worked wonders for me…a small price to pay for the brief silences. :dood::dood:
it goes inline to the input of one of the amps.
I don't know what goes through your head when you write. It's really awesome and always has your brand on it.Tonight's riff comes with the Glorious sound of 2 amps in stereo. That sequence was super pissed off and I'm just glad no one got hurt, from what I could see.
Another nice sample of your sonic violence.

It hums because both amps ground individually, but are also linked by the effects chain, creating a ground loop. A transformer isolated lift on one leg to one amp will cut the loop. You can go with a box like the one I linked/own, or a good ABY switch like a couple from Radial Engineering….they (the ABY) might be overkill for your rig. They're (the Samson boxes)like magic in mine…I have two, and can run 3 amps in near silence(only gain noise). I have been playing with one dry amp, pushing an effects loop that splits to stereo(feed the dry amp effects send to a stereo effects pedal, and on to another, and so on) out to two amps effects returns, that only receive, and play, the “wet” signal. Super crazy wild stereo field! It wraps around you, and punches you in the gut with the dry amp.I just went out to look at them, my Peavey has a ground lift button on the back... Others don't..
It only humanlike that when I use both amps at the same time, interested in figuring that out, thanks for the suggestion
You could also switch positive and negative on one speaker cabIt hums because both amps ground individually, but are also linked by the effects chain, creating a ground loop. Wouldn’t that put them out of phase? You can lift(remove) the ground from one of the input cables, but that is not the best route either…You could also switch positive and negative on one speaker cab
Also….the ground loop occurs pre-output IIRC.You could also switch positive and negative on one speaker cab

Hahahahahahaha!!! Yeah, I learned that recently….wiring a parallel output into a 4x12Yes, and Out of phase is not a good sound.

If it is the one I have, it will work. One side has the isolated lift…use that side to the slave amp….engage the lift, and listen…it will be obvious. So…out of one side of the stereo pedal direct to amp…out of the other side of the stereo pedal to the ABY….out of the ABY liftable side to second amp… engage lift at will….joy.I've got one of the radial aby boxes lying around here somewhere... Where did I set that thing...
Not necessarily.Yes, and Out of phase is not a good sound.
