We begin this scene at a creepy Target parking lot, on the wrong side of town, 11:30 PM.
Light traffic. A siren wails in the distance.
Said he was on the late shift, so this was the time that worked for him for the handover.
He slow rolls up to you in a monstrously jacked black Navigator, what looks like two pretty big dudes jump out of
the rear cabin doors before slowing to a stop. They walk towards you...
Hmmmmm..... you look around nervously... where the hell did YOUR backup dude get to?
Game of Toanz Chapter 5: You Seek The Grail?
Well, it wasn't quite as easy as you'd hoped, but you got the money! PHEW!
Congratulations Rock Stars! You now get a Reverb.com shopping spree and will pull the trigger, (Cowboy loves that term!) on 1 guitar, 1 amp/cab, and max. 4 pedals. This new rig will have both the magic and the practicality to carry you to upwards towards fame & fortune. Multi-fx ok, I don't care, does the audience? You get what you get, and don’t include shipping costs. Trick here is to use your monies wisely, and there’s never enough of that now, amirite?
Some may say they could do it on way less. They are welcome to ahead, why not pass that extra to one of your competitors!
Frankly, I don’t see the coolest ouijaboard superstrats going for less than 3 grand. Boring is cheap, but cool
always costs.
And really? This is all about GAS candy, not practicality or sensibleness. A fantasy shopping spree!
Go ahead a get a Squier, but at least get a good old Japanese one!
You can assume you already have a tuner. No need to include mods, accessories or any other bull

. Just max. 1 guitar, 4 pedals (or a MFX) and one amplifier (or head/cab or combo). You will be judged on your choices by the TTR Community. Thing here is, members are going to be VERY critical of what you buy, because after all, they are your competition. So be smart, but don't be afraid to reach for the brass ring to impress with your gear smarts, and out-of-the-box GASSY thinking for pro stage & show purposes. Here is also where you will detail for us your chosen music genre you hope to pursue with this gear. You have approx 72 hours to shop and post photos of all what you bought and reverb links with prices for verification - Do NOT go over budget! Tell us a bit on why you chose what you chose. If you have any dough left over, of course we’d all love to hear how/where you blew that wad too.
Your Task In Short
1. Tell us all about what happened when the deal went down, and the amount you raised.
2. Shop Reverb for your new rig, showing us pictures, links, prices (guitar/amp/+4 pedals).
3. Outline why you bought that stuff (the sweet tones/style you may now achieve for your chosen genre),
and if you somehow managed to have any extra money left over, how you got rid of that too.
Entries Due before 8pm CST Thursday. Then I will begin a Poll/Vote period.
DEADLINE
This is an immunity round for the Chapter 6 Challenge, and another community vote.
