Pretty funny

@Thatbastarddon
Oh yeah man, there's much stronger language in the new series than there ever was in TNG lol

I think this 3rd final season is so far my favorite of the series
As I am watching Star Trek (TOS) on Pluto TV, for free, as I type this…
I find it fundamentally ironic that Paramount+ has the nutz to base its streaming service on Roddenberry’s utopian vision of a future based not on economic culture, but a merit based culture…where money is not a “thing”…
That said, I know that I’m missing out.

I haven't checked out any of the other new series yet. I sat through a few episodes of Discovery, didn't find myself as engaged (lol) with it as some of the others. I have yet to check out Strange New Worlds but it looks like it should be pretty alright.

I'm pissed that Paramount+ will only feed us one new episode a week though. I had really gotten used to the whole binge-style thing lol

Without dropping any bombs, currency actually does come into play as part of the 2nd season, albeit in a pretty typical Star Trek kinda way.

Does anyone know the back story on 42 as the answer in High hitchers guide? :unsure:
Without too much Thread high-jacking, yes, it's a lot less lackluster than you can imagine. D.Adams gave an interview where he finally answered the question, "Where did 42 come from?" He basically said, [there's no significance. I needed a number and 42 was the first one I thought of. Nothing else trivial about it.]
