Holy Cannoli! GOOD NEWS FELLAS!
If you've made it this far you can say you successfully sold your guitar on Craiglist for the asking price! WHAT???!!??
But, man! What went down that night during the transfer was super freaky!
Mathiness Warning, it is near tax time anyway....
With a couple of rather outlandish asking prices, and a couple no asks too, the scales went kind of out of whack for what I was expecting you guys to ask for you gear. So. I’m throwing out highest and lowest asked prices from both group "A" and "B". I then added up the sums. “Group A” rounded to $20,000, “Group B” rounded to $45,000, so $65,000 total. For fairness... I then divvied up that take between 12 of you who will remain after tonights' vote, getting you each
$5,416.00 - WOWEE!!!
This is the base amount you’ll each have to shell out your new room rockin' rig! Yes!!
Oh-Oh... Cowboy sez he’s gotta step in for a little bit and add some modifiers to keep ‘er interesting.
If the base amount of $5,416 is ABOVE your initial gear ask price (do not calculate if you failed to put a price on your gear),
remove $416 for not having the balls to ask for more. If your asking price was ABOVE the base amount, add $416 ($5,832) for dreaming real big rock star dreams.
Got that?
Whoa now, buckaroos! Hold up there, ain’t done yet! A-fore you start buying rounds in the saloon n’ shootin’ bullets up at the sky ‘n all, Cowboy from Hell needs ta pound down a coupla ugly nails what are sticking from on that round. A few mavericks figgered they might get away with a little tomfoolery, didn’t you now? Nosiree... Cowboy needs to do a little do-see-do all over y'all with a few Ch.2 “Craigliszt Composer” penalties.
Two fumble-headed Rock Stars submitted entries with no price at all hurtin’ everyone in their group! For this awful form,
@Inspector #20 and @LRT each suffer a $1,400 “Greenhorn Tax” to be removed from their shopping total. They both now have $4,016.00. Still, quite a windfall to even get this much when they didn’t ask for nuthin’ in the first place! Cowboy also seen that
@iblive &
@Mr. Potato Head submitted no amplification 4sale, probably also affecting the Group “A” total, but he figures less so. iblive has already been run off, so Cowboy can only demand a $
1,000 “Tenderfoot Tax” from member Mr. Potato Head, for selling an incomplete package & low-balling himself while doing it. Who does that? Again still, he might be happy with a $4,016.00 bankroll, i mean at one time he had TWO Squier '51s the cheap bugger. If he makes it past Chapter four! Could be worse though, right?
The rest of you (except for maybe one) are each gonna have a “whoppin’” $5,000 or $5,832 in-hand depending on if you asked low, or high to start with. I’ll leave it up to y’alls to figure out which you is. No cheatin’ now, cowboy don’t abide by no snakes. For game purposes this is your full budget for your next rig, it is what it is. I’ll let all that stick in yer craw for a bit while you stand by for Chapter 5, coming later tonight, to commence sometime after the current vote.
