My first was a 1960 Chevy pickup long bed with a 3 speed on the column. I wasn't fixed up. I took my driving test in that thing, barely passed the 3 point turn around without power steering and I couldn't parallel park it because it was so long. The guy testing me said he wouldn't be able to do it either so I passed, lol.
 
I remember the Monza , my bud had one.
It was fun. To change the back two spark plugs on the drivers side. Had to loosen motor mount and jack the engine. Steering box blocked getting a wrench and socket on them. And a couple on the passenger side was only accessible from underneath. At least changing oil was easy. :rolleyes:
 
Yep. A reskinned Vega. Being sold at the same time. Consequently. The Monza rusted in all the same spots as did the Vega. The redeeming feature in mine. A 305 small block. That was fun.
At one time I was thinking Porsche 924 as well. That feeling also passed.
