TTR Game of Toanz

Any progress on getting these challenges and such moved to their own individual threads? In Steve's defense, it's hard/overly time consuming to comb back through 11ty million posts looking for specific ones applicable to whichever challenge we're on. I had no idea why the idol changed hands the first time til it changed the third time...

Back to the spirit of the thread: @LiveeviL2000 you should have asked the drug store employee where the fitting room was...

@Iron1 et al,

I have been tagging @WavMixer with game concerns hoping he would see the logic in compartmentalizing this game... but still no response.
In his defense it may be more difficult to create a new section than we think, and I've already expressed thoughts that TTR already has too many section partitions... but I was always asking for a temporary space just for a few months. Only then would I dare split challenges into new threads

I have asked twice now for people to keep on topic and that has improved a bit. If we can't get a separate section I don't want to splinter the game into fifty different threads because then you have a few dozen different messes mixed into the general TTR mix rather than just one large one. There are at least 16 more challenge threads and probably another 30 voting threads coming.

Sure it's chaotic...but that's part of the fun. I will endeavor to do what I can ... but I can't coach everyone on game developments constantly...
you gotta follow with the pack and stay up on things or fall behind and be at risk

I woke up this morning and I didnt have a dangling wooden dong in my face ... as weird as it is, now I feel like something is missing in my day.

Game Re-Cap, So Far:

We are now just into our 4th Chapter of the Game of Toanz and already 4 different rock stars have fondled the mystical ancient hardwood idol.
It has been quickly lost twice by holders not retaining possession by remembering to include it in all game posts once acquired.
I suggest making a habit of posting it in every post everywhere, including other forums, for game/TTR promotion.

Current Idol holder at time of posting, staying true to his forum handle @Thatbastarddon

We have now culled two rock star alsorans from our original crew of 18, @iblive by a combo of vote/penalty, and @fitz in a tragic but predictable death by misadventure. Now a third prospect @C-Grin seems to be possibly MIA and will also be suffering under a Chapter 3 no-show penalty if/when he returns for the current challenge, next community vote.

You will find your bookmark list when you click on your profile. Very helpful.
Also once again, if you have not already followed me as GameMaster, do that too,
AND PLEASE put this thread on "Watch" these two actions will greatly assist you in
staying apprised of the major game posts. Keep up, or risk falling behind.

Perhaps even just a separate thread for each competition? That way the first post is the competition itself, easy to find, voting etc takes place there. MIght assist some in finding them quickly...

I do have the ability to ”pin” threads…if we would outline their proper placement within a forum room.
For example; Submission threads…if @TVvoodoo were to start a new thread with his original challenge post copy/pasted into the first post, I could pin it to the top of that room for submissions. When it’s over…un-pin, and let it sink to the depths of oblivion…
So…drop the challenge here….copy paste the challenge to a new “Submissions only” thread…I’ll pin it so it stays up top…when all’s said and done, judging and voting are over, and such…un-pin and move on.
I would suggest picking a room, and sticking with it, for ease of following.
But don’t listen to me, I’m not thinking with the proper head… ;)

Let me think on that @Thatbastarddon - not bad. But then we have to be constantly following TWO threads minimum, plus the voting rather than one - - - I highly doubt we can keep any submissions threads clean of poasting detritus, so in that case it might take double the effort to stay caught up.

I guess I'm not against testing it for a round, maybe chapter 5.

I think the watch thread/bookmark thing has to work, IF people fall in line for their own good and stay up with things.
If they don't, but keep complaining they are lost? What can ya do?

Agreed. I’m not having trouble keeping up at the moment, but others are mentioning some difficulties.
Not a chance in Hell that this group could keep a thread unsullied…I’m as guilty as the next there.
But in the time allotted for a typical challenge….how bad could it be? :rolf: :fan::pound-hand:…in comparison to skimming 15 pages, here, to find each submission.
Thanks for giving it some thought though…sincerely. Just trying to help where I can.
