Works for me.
Works for me.
Careful….you could damage the finish

The finish was ok. I didn't need a massive raging fire, just needed to make some coals I could rake around and cook over. I didn't get any pics but those pork chops turned out pretty decent!Careful….you could damage the finish![]()

The breastplate/rib tips is gonna go into some beans or something. In the near future.
Speaking of fire ...Fire. Did someone say fire. Fire good. I like fire.

My kids watched Beavis and Butt Head. Also Renn and Stympy. My own sophomoric funny bone had evolved past both. However, I readily admit had I been preteen to early teen. I’d have been all about both.Speaking of fire ...
Anyone watching the new Beavis and Butt-Head comeback? It's on Paramount+.
Tomahawk was shared amongst several people a couple Christmas’s ago. Also grilled some burger and some red snapper. Were at a friends place in Sarasota. So fish had been swimming in the gulf that morning. Can't find picture currently, but three years ago I went to butcher and bought a 4 1/2 pound tomahawk steak, grilled it and ate it all within 24 hours. = brutal hemorrhoid flare up.
Well....I am about the same age as at least one of your kids, iirc....My kids watched Beavis and Butt Head. Also Renn and Stympy. My own sophomoric funny bone had evolved past both. However, I readily admit had I been preteen to early teen. I’d have been all about both.
Yes you are. My youngest turns 40 in May.Well....I am about the same age as at least one of your kids, iirc....
It follows that I would have also watched it (back in the "day", as you old f*rts like to say )
Edit: seriously? I can't say f a r t here? Lolol! Holy shiṭ!!
I haven’t either Mitch. (1) I need to do some maintenance on the grill. (2) weather has been iffy at best here in northern Illinois (3) we haven’t been home much since Jan 1.Wow I am totally slouching.. I haven’t grilled anything in a couple of months..
The thing was 2.5 inches thick, while I was grilling it I smugly thought "Steven Reichlien Project Smoke my ass", I am the king around here. Can't find picture currently, but three years ago I went to butcher and bought a 4 1/2 pound tomahawk steak, grilled it and ate it all within 24 hours. = brutal hemorrhoid flare up.
I have one of his books. Project Smoke. When I was laid off back in 09…. His shows on PBS helped keep me somewhat sane. The thing was 2.5 inches thick, while I was grilling it I smugly thought "Steven Reichlien Project Smoke my ass", I am the king around here.
Lesson learned!
I feel you’ve answered your own question. Grill two steaks of your choice tonight. Give the kids Mac and cheese. Freeze the rest for a later date.I really need to figure out which steaks to cook and which to freeze for later tonight though.
2 of the 4 of us are kids. One is 10, the other is almost 3. Neither one really cares or actually appreciates the cuts nor the preparation involved. I could feed them mac and cheese and they'd be beyond pleased lol
