When I first got my smart phone and typed the "F" word, it kept changing it to "Duck" or "D*ucking" I fought for ages.

Now my device won't allow me to type the work Duck unless I capitalize the first letter and no matter what, I can't type "D*ucking"

Found out my wife's iPhone does the same thing. She found out when she was trying to look up the European shoe company DuckFeet. Her Google returns was not to her liking.

My phone is named Dawn.
Whenever I'd be texting and get autocorrected to something I didn't mean, I'd follow up with a DAMN AUTOCORRECT text.
It would always come out as DAWN AUTOCORRECT.

I finally realized the phone was telling me her name.

My wife gets bit by autocorrect all the time. Her issues is shot and shut getting changed to….. well….. a different vowel. One time one of those she missed went to our 16 year old granddaughter…. Who didn’t catch it till we mentioned it. Then she laughed at grandma a lot.

Of course this could all be fixed by shutting off auto correct. Then we’d be to blame for misspelled words, not Siri.
