That’s a fair amount. Stay inside. Like us. Ya don’t gotta get out if you don’t have to.

We’re also part of that weather event. But where we live we’re only looking at 2-4” (about 5-10cm). I may actually have to fire up the snow blower for the first time this snow season.

No worries Rick, we haven't had any in a month now, the ground still isn't even frozen here yet, but we are to get this snow and temps supposed to plummet, winter is almost over here, but sometimes can get a couple of storms in Feb- March, but hasn't happened here in the banana belt in the last 10 years or longer. I have my shovel warmed up ready to go..

It’s been a weird winter here. Snow, rain, warm, cold, repeat. We had a few good cold snaps without snow that hopefully killed mosquitoes, chubs, and other vermin. Got three inches (7.5 cm) of mixed rain and snow yesterday. Heavy, but easy to shovel. Not enough to bother with the snow blower. It was 40+ degrees and partly sunny today. The cars I didn’t clean the snow off of were clear today. Tomorrow afternoon we’re supposed to get snow, but it will be 50+ degrees by Thursday morning. So, most of the snow should be gone by noon, and then Friday it might drop to 32 degrees again. Looking ahead, winter might hit New England on January 31. Just in time to make it’s February appearance. We used to get winter just after Halloween. Good thing I keep getting told climate change is a hoax. Maybe, just maybe, I‘ll finally buy some gas for the snowblower this weekend.

I'm hoping for a snow free and Deep Freeze free next 5-6 weeks. Gotta get my building projects done and to get the weather to cooperate will be nice. I'm trying to get some roof repairs done, a shed built, and even a carport/bones to a future garage, done.

Man

Man, you are busy chillpep
I have some very similar projects as well my truck resto.

Had a weather alert in NY too. this Monday they'd predicted 1 inch of snow and we got 5.
For today they were predicting 4-5", but temps are warming so likely it'll just rain.
Not that I'm complaining.
